Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor who is best famous for her character House in the Fox medical drama House. At the age of 18 in the year she moved into New York City from Wayne where she was raised according to conservative Jewish traditions. The school was very active in club culture, causing enough controversy to draw the interest of the media. Her experiences as well as her celebrity to create and write an musical entitled Positive Me which she was a part of. The first time she was hired, she got her first position on MTV as the host of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. Once Awake on the Wild Side had stopped airing, she started acting in films and television, first with short roles. In time, her experience in acting was growing.
